Job Overview RN – Acute Care – Cardiac Telemetry – Full‑Time Night shift (United States of America). The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized, high‑quality, safe patient care. They work under the Wellstar Shared Governance Model and uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association code of ethics.

Responsibilities Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence‑based practice. Provide relationship‑based, patient‑centered care that adapts to cultural diversity. Conduct bedside shift reports, keeping patients and significant others updated and making patient goals the focus of the plan of care.

Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model. Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration while practicing in a fiscally responsible manner to support recruitment and retention of the healthcare team. Participate in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance at all system levels.

Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses and supporting staff or students. Promote evidence‑based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement, including value analysis in evaluating patient‑care products. Collect data, pose relevant clinical questions, and plan for patient care across the continuum.

Assist in the development of protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers and other healthcare team members. Qualifications Licensed RN (Single State or RN‑COMPACT for Multi‑state Compact). Minimum 5 years of RN experience.

Direct patient care experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Basic computer skills and ability to use technology to support clinical care.

Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with customer‑service orientation. Ability to function in a fast‑paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively, calmly, and respectfully. Practices nursing using evidence, analytical skills, and strong critical thinking.

Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
