General Manager – Transit Operations | Las Vegas, NV We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large-scale fixed-route transit operation in the Las Vegas market. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safe and reliable service delivery, managing financial performance, leading union labor relations, and maintaining strong client and community partnerships. This role will oversee operations leadership, shift supervisors, and frontline teams while driving operational excellence, service performance, and long-term business success.

Compensation Bonus opportunity Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) PTO, holidays, and sick time Key Responsibilities Lead overall transit operations for a large fixed-route bus operation Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery across all operations Manage leadership teams, supervisors, and frontline employees Build strong relationships with employees, clients, union partners, and the community Drive operational KPIs, service performance, and financial resultsOversee budgeting, cost control, and P&L performance Manage contract assets, fleet optimization, and operational efficiencies Ensure compliance with safety standards, state and federal regulations, and internal policies Support labor relations, union negotiations, and grievance resolution Identify opportunities for operational improvements and business growth Provide leadership across operations, maintenance, safety, and customer service teams Qualifications 5+ years of successful General Manager experience in transit operations or a similar environment Experience managing fleets of 500+ fixed-route or paratransit buses Strong labor relations and union management experience Proven success managing large teams and complex operations Strong financial acumen with budget ownership and P&L responsibility Experience with dispatch operations, transit scheduling, and service planning Familiarity with CAD/AVL systems, scheduling software, and transit technology preferred Strong client-facing leadership and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities Bachelor’s degree preferred (Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field) Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
