FyneHand is mandated to hire for the position of Project Sales Head (GM) Our client, a leading player in the building materials and interior solutions space, is seeking to hire a Project Sales Head (GM) to be based in Delhi. Our client is a well-established organization, recognized for its strong market presence across laminates, panels, and surface solutions (HPL, CPL, particle boards, etc.), and its growing global footprint. Role Overview: The Project Sales Head will lead and drive the Project Sales and OEM business across India.
This role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, developing strategic partnerships, managing key accounts, and driving specifications with architects, developers, and OEM clients. The position requires strong leadership, deep industry understanding, and the ability to develop and execute nationwide sales strategies. Key Responsibilities: 1.
Project Sales (PAN India) Lead and manage the Project Sales function across all regions in India Identify, develop, and convert large-scale project opportunities in residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional segments Ensure product specifications with architects, interior designers, PMC firms, Government and consultants Build strong relationships with developers, contractors, and key influencers Drive end-to-end project pipeline management - from lead generation to closure 2. OEM Business Development Grow business with OEM clients (modular furniture manufacturers, kitchen manufacturers, interior product OEMs, etc.) Develop strategic partnerships and long-term contracts with OEM customers Lead negotiations for pricing, annual contracts, and supply planning Ensure seamless servicing, quality adherence, and timely deliveries for OEM clients 3. Key Account Management (KAM) Manage national-level key accounts and ensure consistent business growth Develop account-specific business plans and retention strategies Ensure service excellence and timely resolution of escalations 4.
Sales Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and guide regional Project Sales & OEM teams Ensure team capability development through training and performance monitoring Drive accountability and ownership across regional teams 5. Strategic Planning & Execution Develop annual sales plans, go-to-market strategies, and product penetration plans Conduct market/competition analysis and recommend product and pricing strategies Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, SCM, and Production for demand planning and product initiatives Pipeline Management with proper usage of CRM Key Performance Indicators: Annual Project Sales Target Achievement OEM Sales Growth & New OEM Acquisition Project Specification Conversion Ratio Key Account Revenue Contribution-OEM, End user & Architects Forecast Accuracy & AOP Achievement Team Productivity & Attrition Control New Market / New Client Penetration OTIF Delivery & Credit Control Customer Satisfaction Score & Escalation TAT Education & Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred 18 - 22+ years of experience in Project Sales / OEM Sales in Laminate, Panel, Ply, Surface Solutions, Building Materials, or related industries Proven track record of handling PAN India roles and managing large key accounts Strong network with architects, OEMs, and developers Strong business development and negotiation skills Deep understanding of Project Sales and OEM channels Leadership ability to guide geographically spread teams Excellent communication and relationship management skills Strategic mindset with strong analytical abilities Ability to travel extensively across India Location: Delhi Client details will be shared with shortlisted candidates only.
