Frontend Developer

Careflick is looking for a Frontend Developer Intern who is excited to build meaningful products in the AgeTech space. This is a remote internship opportunity for someone who enjoys working with React.js, TypeScript, APIs, and clean user interfaces. We are building AI-powered solutions that support older adults, caregivers, and senior care organizations.

What you will work on As a Frontend Developer Intern, you will: Develop and maintain frontend components using React.js and TypeScript Integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs using REST endpoints Test API responses using Postman to ensure smooth data flow Build forms, validations, and responsive user interfaces Write clean, reusable, and scalable code following best practices Use Git for version control and collaborate with the development team Fix UI bugs and improve performance, usability, and overall user experience Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot where relevant Who should apply This role is ideal for candidates who: Are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field Have hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript through college projects, internships, freelance work, or personal projects Understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and REST API integrations Have basic familiarity with Node.js Are comfortable using Git, GitHub, and Postman Have good problem-solving skills and strong attention to UI details Are available for a 3-month remote internship Can start immediately Skills we are looking for React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Responsive Design, REST APIs, Postman, Git, Node.js basics, UI/UX fundamentals, GitHub Copilot or other GenAI coding tools.
