Key Responsibilities Serve as a strategic finance partner, working closely with People Experience and Technology leadership Design and maintain comprehensive financial metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive critical business decisions Lead core planning processes, including quarterly estimates and multi‑year financial forecasts Collaborate with senior business leaders and cross‑functional finance teams Conduct sophisticated cost‑benefit analyses and communicate key financial drivers A Day in the Life Your day will be a blend of collaborative analysis, strategic planning, and impactful storytelling. You'll dive deep into financial data, crafting compelling narratives that help senior leaders understand complex business dynamics. About the Team We are a collaborative and innovative finance team dedicated to understanding and supporting Amazon's People Experience and Technology organization. Our work goes beyond traditional financial reporting—we are strategic partners who provide critical insights that drive organizational decision‑making. We value intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts with clarity and impact.

Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field 5+ years of building financial and operational reports and data sets that inform business decision‑making 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications MBA or CPA Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, and with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis, and interpreting data results Experience communicating results to senior leadership 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis EEO Statement Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Benefits The base salary range for this position is USD 95,400.00 – 163,200.00 annually for the Seattle, WA location. The Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).

Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
