Job Details Hybrid Role: 2 days work from home. Jobot is working with a high profile client seeking a strategic and handsâon Finance Manager to serve as a key member of our business leadership team. In this role, you will partner closely with the Vice President/General Manager and crossâfunctional leaders across commercial, operations, engineering, product management, project management, and supply chain to drive business performance and profitable growth.
This position combines financial leadership, business partnership, forecasting, operational analysis, and strategic planning. You will help guide decisionâmaking by delivering meaningful financial insights, leading planning processes, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring accountability for business results. The ideal candidate brings strong FP&A leadership experience within a projectâbased industrial or manufacturing environment and is comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
Salary: $165,000 - $190,000 per year. Benefits Excellent PTO and benefits! Performance Bonus Responsibilities Serve as the primary finance partner to the VP/GM and business leadership team, providing financial insight and strategic guidance to support business performance.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, longârange planning, and financial reporting processes. Develop financial projections for revenue, orders, margins, operating income, cash flow, and working capital. Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve results.
Deliver timely and accurate variance analysis and performance reporting to support decisionâmaking. Build financial models to evaluate growth initiatives, investments, resource allocation, and strategic opportunities. Support revenue recognition processes and periodâend close activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Drive working capital improvements and cashâflow optimization initiatives. Lead capital expenditure and operating expense planning, budgeting, and spend management. Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, product management, project management, and commercial teams to improve financial and operational performance.
Develop and track productivity initiatives, measuring financial impact and business results. Prepare and present Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Operating Reviews (QORs), and other leadership presentations. Support the development and execution of shortâ and longâterm business strategies.
Implement and support Lean and 80/20 initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment opportunities, including financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analysis. Collaborate with accounting, audit, shared services, and global finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective financial controls.
Communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner to both financial and nonâfinancial stakeholders. Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 10+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, or business finance leadership experience.
Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, engineered products, environmental, energy, or projectâdriven businesses. Strong forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis experience. Knowledge of Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting and projectâbased revenue recognition.
Understanding of ASC 606, GAAP, and IFRS reporting standards. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Preferred MBA, CPA, CMA, or related advanced credential.
Experience supporting global operations. Prior involvement in M&A due diligence, valuation, and integration activities. Experience with Dynamics 365, Hyperion, TM1, Power BI, CRM platforms, or similar financial systems.
