Position Summary The Engineering Team Lead is an engineering management position responsible for providing technical engineering oversight and managing design teams for engineering projects. The role involves financial, resource allocation, logistical and technical leadership, and has the capability to mentor and train staff under their supervision. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and project meeting minutes.

Supervise and direct overall project activities as assigned by the Head of Programs, including planning and coordination, problem resolution, and ensuring that all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained and consistent. Maintain change order, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs; prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings. Create accurate and timely contract submittals for review.

Create and issue subcontractor contracts. Create and timely deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals. Monitor the project quality control plan to ensure it is being followed and documented issues are identified for corrective action.

Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation and drawings for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals. Keep the warranty log up to date. Represent the company/project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Cooperate with and provide technical assistance to field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility. Monitor other contractors' activities and progress. The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position and are not a complete listing; other duties may be assigned based on the role within the business unit.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences. Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience. Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.

Field (startup, commissioning and troubleshooting) experience is strongly recommended. Combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered. Required Skills and Experience Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods required.

Strong organizational, record‑keeping and follow‑up skills. Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management. Ability to identify and meet customers' expectations and requirements.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle preferred. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities. Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.

Effective oral and written communication skills. Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player. Professional interaction with all levels of employees, vendors, clients and trade partners.

Prepare job information sheets and establish job files. Assume total project supervision responsibilities in Program Manager's absence. Prepare price change orders and project reports and documentation.

Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information. Additional Competencies Leadership – ability to lead a diverse team of people to accomplish a goal. Communication – fluency in oral and written formats.

Teamwork – ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group to deliver an extraordinary result. Travel Up to 25% (does not include local field visits). Working Conditions General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending; work conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
