About the Role: As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) , you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of T-Mobiles software systems. This role focuses on translating business and functional requirements into effective test strategies, automated test solutions, and quality validation across the full software development and sustainment lifecycle.

You will lead test automation efforts by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality test frameworks and automated test suites. Success is measured by the effectiveness of automated testing, seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines, and improved quality outcomes that support development teams and enhance customer experience. What Youll Do: Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests to validate product quality and support continuous delivery pipelines.

Ensure requirements and user stories are testable by clarifying ambiguities and partnering with product and engineering teams to enable accurate test design. Collaborate with development and operations teams to uphold testing standards, practices, and quality thresholds. Design, develop, and maintain test automation tools, frameworks, and systems that support development and testing activities.

Contribute to broader quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the software lifecycle. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management. What Youll Bring: Bachelors degree plus 2 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Educational background in a technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. 24 years of professional experience developing software using one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C, JavaScript). 24 years of experience using multiple test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, or equivalent frameworks. Experience applying test methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), or similar approaches. Hands-on experience with AI practices to create or enhance test cases Experience working in Agile environments using issue-tracking and project management tools.

Experience developing or testing applications on Linux or Windows platforms or complex multitier systems. Must Have Skills: Agile and DevOps Testing Practices Linux basic skills and bash scripting End-to-End and Automation Testing AI-Assisted test case and automation creation Java/C, Javascript, Test Automation AI practices to create or enhance test cases Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Analytical and Data-Driven Thinking.
