Overview Principal Consultant | U.S. MEPF Engineering | Electrical Engineering Leader – (MEP Engineering) We’re supporting a leading national engineering consultancy in their search for an experienced Electrical Engineering Leader to help expand their MEP practice . This is a high-impact leadership role with strong growth and ownership potential.
Responsibilities Lead and manage project teams in the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design projects. Provide technical expertise in HVAC and electrical system design for complex facilities. Oversee the preparation and review of design documents, including electrical layouts, schematics, system calculations, and one-line diagrams.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, mechanical/plumbing engineers, and other consultants) to coordinate project requirements. Develop project specifications, construction cost estimates, and proposals to support the growth of electrical engineering services both locally and statewide. Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring profitable project delivery.
Mentor, develop, and lead engineering staff, creating a positive and collaborative team environment. Provide vision, strategy, and leadership in growing the MEP Practice in Washingston. Qualifications 10+ years of experience managing electrical engineering projects, ideally within healthcare.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in WA required. Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and communicate effectively at all levels. Track record of delivering projects profitably and building client relationships.
