Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Protection & Control Engineer Location: Remote (UK-wide) Employment Type: Permanent Turner Lovell are working with a leading UK utility infrastructure contractor that is setting up an in-house Protection & Control design team. This senior role would suit an experienced P&C Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of design work, being a technical go-to on projects, and help mentor junior engineers as the team grows. You'll be working on HV and EHV substation projects across the UK (33kV-400kV), supporting long-term frameworks that include new substations, network upgrades, and renewable connections.

Coordinate with HV plant, civil, cabling, and project delivery teams to ensure integrated design solutions. Interface with clients and stakeholders on technical matters, contributing to design reviews and project meetings. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience using protection coordination and modelling software (e.g. Strong communication skills with experience engaging clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
