Wilo Canada Inc., a multinational manufacturer of pumps & pump systems for heating, cooling & air‑conditioning solutions, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Bois‑des‑Filion team. This position will be on site 100% of the time. Team‑oriented environment promotes respect, support, and a true sense of belonging Position Summary: To design, develop, analyze, and supervise electrical solutions for water pumps, pumping systems, and electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, electrical safety regulations, operational efficiency, and customer specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and size electrical systems for water pumps and related equipment. Prepare electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, control diagrams, power diagrams, and automation schematics.
Design and specify electrical panels for pump starting, control, protection, and automation. Select electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, variable frequency drives, soft starters, PLCs, protections, sensors, cables, and terminal blocks. Perform electrical calculations including load analysis, current sizing, protection selection, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
Provide technical support to production during assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical panels. Participate in functional testing of panels, pumps, and pumping systems. Analyze customer requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
Support the sales team with technical inquiries and specifications. Supervise installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field service activities when required. Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, industrial safety regulations, and quality standards.
Propose technical improvements in designs, production processes, and energy efficiency. Coordinate with production, purchasing, quality, maintenance, logistics, sales, and technical service teams. About the Company: Wilo Canada Inc. is a subsidiary of Wilo SE, headquartered in Dortmund, Germany.
