Job Description Job Description Summary In this exciting role you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of an outstanding controls Ethernet network. This position requires a motivated, client-focused individual with a wide array of programming and controls engineering skills. The individual also must be a highly effective troubleshooter as they will be the highest level of in-house support.
Further, this position will require people who are highly successful at working as part of a team. It will be necessary for them to partner with internal and external resources to be successful. Responsibilities Job description: Responsibilities Support capital projects from concept through execution, including requirements gathering, vendor coordination, and project delivery Provide technical leadership in PLC programming, HMI systems, and automation standards Develop and maintain automation documentation, including electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and control logic Support process data collection, reporting systems, and dashboards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope and budget Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems to improve reliability and performance Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives Requirements 5-10 years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environment Strong experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred) Experience with HMI systems such as FactoryTalk View or Ignition Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP) and process historians Experience with electrical controls design and automation systems Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and process diagrams Strong project management and problem-solving skills Location: New Berlin NY (We offer relocation assistance) Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Wonderware : 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: New Berlin, NY 13411: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Preferred) Work Location: In person
