Role Title: Senior Earnix Developer (SME) Business Unit: Insurance Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid) Employment Type: Permanent Role Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Earnix specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of pricing solutions within an insurance environment. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across pricing architecture, model deployment, system integration, and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with actuarial, underwriting, data, and technology teams to deliver scalable and efficient pricing capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Earnix development and enterprise implementations, along with strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance pricing, rating, and underwriting processes. Experience with APIs, Python, cloud platforms, and large-scale system integrations is essential. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for Earnix configuration, customisation, and integration within enterprise pricing systems Collaborate with actuarial, data, and IT teams to design and implement architecture supporting pricing and rating processes Partner with solution architects and engineers to optimise the end-to-end pricing lifecycle, including data ingestion, model deployment, and monitoring Develop, enhance, and maintain pricing models and decisioning systems within Earnix Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of pricing solutions in production environments Support integration with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., policy administration platforms, data warehouses, APIs) Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of pricing models Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues within pricing applications Contribute to best practices, documentation, and governance for pricing systems and actuarial processes Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in insurance technology or pricing systems development Proven experience with Earnix implementations Strong expertise in Earnix (configuration, modelling, and deployment) Proficiency in Python and handling large datasets Experience with APIs, system integrations, and microservices architecture Knowledge of cloud platforms (desirable) Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modelling Strong knowledge of P&C insurance pricing and underwriting Familiarity with actuarial modelling, rating algorithms, and risk segmentation Awareness of regulatory and compliance considerations in insurance pricing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
