Summary We are excited to be adding a Director of Western Sales to the MAC Trailer Team. The Director of Western Sales is responsible for leading, developing, and executing all sales strategies and initiatives across the Western United States. This position provides strategic direction and hands‑on leadership to regional sales managers and dealer partners while driving revenue growth through expansion of existing accounts, acquisition of new business, and strengthening of key customer relationships.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Defines, implements, and continuously refines regional sales strategies to achieve company revenue and profitability goals Leads, mentors, and holds accountable regional sales managers and dealer partners to drive performance and consistency Establishes and maintains strong executive‑level relationships with key customers, dealer principals, and strategic partners Identifies and develops new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market analysis Analyzes market conditions, customer behavior, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and positioning Oversees territory forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue tracking to ensure accurate projections and accountability Develops pricing strategies in alignment with company margin expectations and competitive positioning Provides regular reporting on sales performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership Represents the company at customer meetings, dealer visits, trade shows, and industry events Ensures consistent brand representation and professionalism across all customer and dealer interactions Travels extensively throughout the Western United States to support sales initiatives and relationship development. All other duties as assigned Territory Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California, and Western Canada.
Qualifications, Education, And/or Experience To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at a high level. Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing, transportation, trailer, or related industry Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing large geographic territories Demonstrated experience leading regional sales teams and working with dealer/distribution networks Strong understanding of sales strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, and margin optimization Ability to analyze data, market trends, and financial performance to drive decision‑making Exceptional relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage at executive and ownership levels Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of business acumen with the ability to align sales strategy to operational capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess a valid driver’s license Physical Demands Office and field‑based environment with frequent travel Ability to travel extensively, including overnight and multi‑day trips across assigned territory Ability to attend and participate in meetings, trade events, and on‑site customer visits Ability to operate in both office and manufacturing environments, including walking production floors when necessary Must be able to sit, stand, and travel for extended periods of time Work Environment Combination of office, remote, and field sales environment Regular interaction with manufacturing facilities, dealer locations, and customer job sites Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions when visiting plant locations Fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment with a strong emphasis on results and accountability EEO Statement MAC Trailer Enterprises, Inc., and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers.
