EXO Talent Partners | Confidential Client | Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid-Remote) About the Opportunity EXO Talent Partners is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established defense electronics manufacturer with a strong national footprint and a long-standing reputation in the aerospace and defense supply chain. Our client designs and manufactures specialty electronic products for mission‑critical applications across military, aerospace, and adjacent regulated markets. What You’ll Do Lead and develop a sales organization spanning direct sellers, strategic account managers, and external sales representatives Own bookings, forecasting, and pipeline accountability across an established customer portfolio and new business development efforts Build and execute strategic account plans for top customers in the defense and aerospace ecosystem Partner with product management, engineering, and operations to align customer requirements with technical capabilities and capacity planning Develop and manage the manufacturer rep network, including evaluation, contracting, performance management, and relationship building Provide accurate revenue forecasts, win/loss analysis, and competitive intelligence to executive leadership Represent the company at customer sites, industry events, and trade shows What We’re Looking For 10+ years of sales leadership experience in defense electronics, aerospace components, or related regulated industrial manufacturing Demonstrated track record of carrying and exceeding meaningful bookings targets, with full ownership of pipeline and forecasting Direct experience selling into prime defense contractors, tier‑one aerospace integrators, and mission‑critical end‑customer programs Prior experience leading and developing a sales team, including direct reports and external rep channels Deep network of relationships across the U.S. defense and aerospace customer base Strong commercial instincts paired with enough technical fluency to credibly engage on product specifications, qualification cycles, and customer requirements Comfort operating in a lean, accountability‑driven environment where the sales leader owns outcomes end‑to‑end U.S.
