The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader, responsible for setting the strategic vision of the School in alignment with the institution's goals. This role involves overseeing all operational functions, including faculty hiring and development, enrollment, CCNE accreditation, student success, and fiscal management.

The Associate Dean and Director will also be expected to engage in external relations, represent the School in various professional bodies, and lead initiatives to enhance the reputation of the School as a producer of qualified and caring nurses.Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, with the credentials to be a tenured full professor. A minimum of 3 years' teaching experience in a nursing education program, experience in higher education administration, and a strong background in leadership, budgeting, and personnel management are required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transformational leadership, fostering effective relationships, and experience in clinical practice.

The role also demands a commitment to student success, research, and scholarship, as well as the ability to create and advocate for nursing policies at various levels.
