The qualified applicant for this position should possess resident-focused nursing experience in a leadership role, excellent communication skills, be dependable and flexible and have a passion for making a difference in the lives of the geriatric population. Will provide an administrative and overall managerial authority for all functions (including care delivery activities and training) of the Assisted Living Nursing Department.
Position Highlights Is responsible for maintaining clinical competency as evidenced by application integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication skills. Utilized the nursing process in assessment, planning and implementing care. Exhibits organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet resident care needs.

Job Type: Full Time Experience LPN or RN – graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in Tennessee Must have professional experience in the practice of geriatrics, nursing administration, and other related areas.
Assisted Living experience preferred but not required. Must be caring, compassionate, have a positive attitude and be a team player Prior experience as a Director is preferred, but not required Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in the areas of nursing administration, nursing practice, rehabilitation, and partner relations management.
