Director of Construction – Hamilton LRT Project

Shape Hamilton's future as the Director of Construction for the LRT project with Aecon. Manage roadway construction while ensuring safety and quality across urban environments. This role is critical for overseeing all aspects of roadway execution throughout the Hamilton LRT project, ensuring all construction packages are ready.

The successful candidate will have a robust civil engineering background and at least 15 years of relevant experience, focusing on urban projects. You will lead a committed team, influencing early decisions to minimize risks and foster collaborative environments. Key Responsibilities: • Develop means and methods for complex roadway construction • Staff and lead an experienced construction supervisory team • Liaise with engineering for constructability assessments • Oversee site execution and maintain safety measures • Ensure ongoing training for project teams and supervisors Requirements: • Civil Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience • Over 15 years in civil roadway construction • Proven ability to deliver complex urban projects • Strong communication and stakeholder management • Experience with Various delivery models like Alliance and P3 Utilize your extensive construction expertise to lead critical infrastructure development with Aecon, fostering connectivity and growth in Hamilton. #J-18808-Ljbffr
