Role Responsibilities Own the endâtoâend AI training lifecycle: curriculum strategy, partnerâled content development, vendor management, training calendar maintenance, compliance reporting, delivery, and ROI measurement.
Design and maintain a structured AI upskilling curriculum spanning foundational literacy, platformâspecific skills, and advanced useâcase development tailored to investment professionals, portfolio company operators, and functional leaders. Drove the development of training materialsâincluding slide decks, handsâon exercises, quickâreference guides, video walkthroughs, and assessmentsâin partnership with thirdâparty providers, supplementing with internally created content when needed. Ensure all content is continuously refreshed to reflect AI platform evolution, new model releases, and bestâpractice updates.
Build roleâspecific learning paths linking AI capabilities to concrete business outcomes (e.g., dealâteam due diligence, operational efficiency, finance automation). Serve as the primary liaison with external training partners, managing scope, timelines, deliverables, and quality, and negotiating contracts to meet defined KPIs. Direct partners to customize content for H.I.G.âs AI platforms, governance policies, use cases, and organizational context, and approve all deliverables for accuracy and relevance.
Maintain firmâwide and portfolio company training calendars, manage participant scheduling and communications, and coordinate platform access. Deliver AI training sessions directlyâparticularly for firmâspecific platforms and governance requirementsâand facilitate workshops, office hours, and handsâon labs. Manage training compliance reporting, track completion requirements, and ensure all mandatory programs are delivered on schedule.
Define and own training program KPIs, collect and analyze data on completion rates, participant satisfaction, knowledge retention, platform adoption, and usage growth, and report ROI to leadership. Use adoption data and participant feedback to identify skill gaps, refine curriculum, and recommend future training investments. Partner with H.I.G.âs GenAI Champions network and Strategy & Transformation Operating Partners to embed AI upskilling into broader digitalâtransformation initiatives and sustain adoption momentum.
Requirements & Qualifications Education & Background : Bachelorâs degree in Business, Education, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in L&D, instructional design, or technology management are a plus. Experience : 5+ years in training program management, learning and development, enablement, or a related function, with demonstrated experience managing thirdâparty vendors.
Prior experience in private equity, financial services, consulting, or technology companies is strongly preferred. Technical Fluency : Powerâuser proficiency across enterprise AI platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, etc.), deep knowledge of features, configurations, integrations, prompt engineering techniques, AI governance, and acceptableâuse frameworks. Experience with learning management systems, training analytics, and content authoring tools.
Execution & Delivery : Proven ability to manage complex, multiâstakeholder training programs with competing timelines and diverse audiences, and a track record of measuring training effectiveness and ROI. Mindset & Cultural Fit : Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technology, executive presence, facilitation skills, high organization, bias toward action, and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups. Travel & Location : Flexible/remote position with approximately 40% travel to H.I.G. offices and portfolio company sites for inâperson training delivery, partner coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
