DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer – Edinburgh (Haymarket) – Permanent - £Excellent package Change Digital is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a DevOps Engineer who will act as the technical bridge between software delivery teams and a central platform function. This role focuses on enabling teams to seamlessly consume platform capabilities removing friction, automating CI/CD pipelines, and embedding modern DevSecOps and AI‑augmented engineering practices. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys treating infrastructure as code, optimising containerised workloads, and mentoring teams to adopt a “you build it, you run it” culture.

You’ll have autonomy to influence how software is built, deployed, and operated within your delivery stream. Key responsibilities Collaborate with central platform teams to align infrastructure with delivery needs Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Enable and upskill engineers in cloud-native and container-based approaches Improve reliability, observability, and system resilience Embed security and compliance into the deployment lifecycle About you Background in DevOps, software engineering, or systems engineering Strong experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform Proven CI/CD pipeline experience Practical use of AI engineering tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT) Systems-thinking mindset with a passion for automation and mentoring If you are considering a new role and have some of the required skills and experience, please forward your latest CV for immediate consideration.
