Delivery Manager β Digital & Public Sector Programs Full-time | Senior Level About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager to lead fixed-price digital delivery engagements for public sector clients. This role has full ownership of delivery execution, financial performance, and schedule discipline, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and at planned margins. This position requires strong financial acumen, deep experience with delivery governance, and the ability to operate in CMMI and ISO aligned environments.
What Youβll Do Own end-to-end delivery accountability for fixed-price engagements, from initiation through production Ensure schedule adherence, scope control, and margin protection across all programs Maintain full ownership of delivery financials including burn rates, forecasts, margin tracking, and corrective actions Enforce strong change control and scope management to protect profitability Define, track, and report CMMI-aligned quality metrics, delivery KPIs, and compliance artifacts Ensure accurate and timely delivery reporting (status, risks, financials, quality metrics) Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, financial, and operational risks Serve as the primary delivery escalation point for customers and internal leadership Build trusted relationships with public sector stakeholders Contribute to RFP responses, including delivery approach, schedules, assumptions, risks, and pricing validation Mentor project managers and delivery leads on fixed-price delivery discipline and financial accountability What Success Looks Like Fixed-price engagements delivered on time and within approved budgets Planned margins consistently achieved or exceeded Clear, auditable CMMI quality metrics and delivery reporting Minimal schedule and cost variance High client satisfaction and repeat engagements What Weβre Looking For 12β18+ years of IT services delivery experience with significant fixed-price program ownership Strong financial acumen is a must, including experience managing margins, forecasts, burn rates, and revenue realization Proven delivery of digital modernization, web portals, and enterprise IT programs Experience working with public sector clients (SLED) Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models Working knowledge of CMMI quality frameworks and metrics, ISO 9001/27001, and structured delivery governance Experience contributing to or shaping RFP responses Nice to Have PMP, PgMP, SAFe, ITIL, or similar certifications Experience delivering cloud, CMS, low-code, or digital experience platforms Prior experience with public sector customers
