Database Engineer (Peoria)

The Opportunity This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role supporting a critical database environment while gaining hands-on experience with a PostgreSQL migration and ERP transformation initiative . You’ll work closely with senior leadership and technical stakeholders to maintain current systems while helping shape the future state of the company’s data infrastructure. What You’ll Do Support and maintain existing SQL Server databases Assist with database design, performance tuning, and optimization Partner with internal teams on application and data needs Contribute to a greenfield PostgreSQL migration effort Support a long-term initiative to consolidate and rebuild internal ERP systems Collaborate with developers working in C# and React What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of experience working with SQL / relational databases Strong foundational knowledge of database structures and queries Interest in learning or working with PostgreSQL Ability to work onsite and collaborate with a small, hands-on team Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in an evolving environment Nice to Have: Exposure to PostgreSQL Experience supporting internal systems or ERP environments Familiarity with modern development environments
