We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA to build and integrate large data sets of space, air, and ground systems focuses on building high-assurance, resilient pipelines that synchronize data across multi-domain environments.

Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI, which only a U.S. citizen can obtain


 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Multi-Domain Data Integration: Design and implement end-to-end pipelines that ingest and normalize data from disparate sources, including satellite payloads (space)aerial sensors (air), and terrestrial stations (ground).
  • High-Assurance Pipeline Development: Build highly reliable, scalable data structures capable of operating within the strict technical and security constraints of classified networks (e.g., Cross-Domain Solutions).
  • Protocol & Standard Management: Work with industry-standard space and ground protocols such as CCSDSXTCE, and MIB to manage command and telemetry data.
  • Real-Time Data Operations: Monitor and automate real-time data feeds, ensuring the timeliness and integrity of mission-critical "data brokering" between producers and consumers.


  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deploy and manage data clusters in secure, containerized environments (Kubernetes) and cloud ecosystems like AWS GovCloud using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Development of Interface Control Documents (ICD)
  • Development of APIs (Application Programming Interface)

What We’re Looking For

  • Security Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI, which only a U.S. citizen can obtain
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Experience integrating data from multi-domain environment.  
  • Familiarity/Experience w/ DevSecOps Engineering
  • Experience with AI tool development
  • Experience developing ICD and APIs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced new development environment utilizing cutting edge technology to achieve desired results.
