Business Systems Analyst / Data Analyst Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 4 months through October 2026, with strong likelihood of extension Interview Process: 2–3 rounds (virtual and/or in-person) We are seeking a strong Data Analyst or data-focused Business Systems Analyst with hands-on Python and SQL experience for a hybrid contract opportunity in Toronto. Candidates with experience supporting financial regulatory compliance, risk reporting, or regulatory monitoring environments are highly preferred. Role Overview: This role combines data analysis, database development, regulatory monitoring, and stakeholder/vendor coordination.

The successful candidate will support data modernization initiatives, regulatory reporting and monitoring processes, and migration of Excel-based workflows into structured database environments. Key Requirements: Strong Python and SQL development skills for data analysis, transformation, and reporting Experience working with large datasets, data validation, and database development Exposure to regulatory compliance, risk reporting, audit, or monitoring processes within financial services Experience with Teradata and Excel Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills Preferred: OSFI regulatory experience Power BI or Tableau Jira and Confluence Vendor management or third-party data provider coordination Note: We use AI tools to: obtain basic information, detect plagiarism, false employment history or references, categorize your skills, and do an initial match with job posting.
