Cost Manager

Profile - Costing - AM Qualification - CMA Experience - 6+ Years Location - Mumbai Key Responsibilities Costing & Cost Control Prepare and maintain product cost sheets, BOM-based costing, and standard costing models. Perform detailed variance analysis between standard costs and actual costs and provide actionable insights. Monitor material, labour, and overhead costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Analyze manufacturing costs and support operational efficiency initiatives. Ensure proper allocation of overheads and maintenance of costing structures. Conduct profitability analysis for products, customers, and business segments.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan processes through cost-related inputs. Work closely with production and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and inventory management. Inventory & Financial Reporting Manage inventory valuation in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Reconcile inventory records with finance and operations teams. Assist in monthly closing activities related to costing and inventory accounting. Prepare MIS reports and cost analysis reports for management review.

Support internal and statutory audits related to costing and inventory processes. Systems & Process Improvement Maintain and update costing masters, BOMs, routing data, and standard cost structures in ERP systems. Ensure data accuracy within ERP and costing modules.
