About the Role Reporting to a Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the review, negotiation, and management of a wide range of customer and commercial agreements across multiple European jurisdictions. Acting as a trusted advisor to Sales, Commercial, Legal, Risk, and Finance teams, you will help ensure contractual compliance while balancing commercial objectives and risk exposure. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-sufficient and confident contract professional who enjoys negotiating complex agreements, building strong stakeholder relationships, and influencing business decisions.
Key Responsibilities Review, negotiate, and manage customer contracts across multiple European jurisdictions, including the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and Spain. Conduct contract risk assessments and advise internal stakeholders on contractual risks and mitigation strategies. Draft and execute Statements of Work and Work Orders in line with company policies and compliance requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert for Commercial and Sales teams, providing guidance on customer terms and conditions. Make informed decisions regarding contractual terms, escalating matters outside risk tolerance thresholds where appropriate. Manage contractual SLAs and prioritize competing workload demands effectively.
Collaborate closely with Legal, Risk & Assurance, Export Control, ESG, Commercial, Billing, and Senior Leadership teams. Support pre-litigation matters in partnership with Legal and Risk teams. Contribute to reporting, contractual analysis, and ad hoc projects supporting divisional leadership.
What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and legal agreements. Strong contract management and risk assessment capabilities. Proven ability to negotiate with senior client stakeholders, including Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to make sound commercial decisions while balancing business objectives and risk considerations.
Knowledge of commercial contracting practices within consultancy, staffing, recruitment, or professional services environments. Qualifications Law degree or equivalent professional experience. Legal Practice Course (LPC) desirable. 2โ3+ years' experience in: Contract review and negotiation, and/or An in-house legal or commercial contracts function within a consultancy, staffing, or recruitment business.
