Department: School of Nursing and Midwifery Location: City South Campus Salary: £32,006 to £35,331 per annum Post Type: Full Time Reference: NM26011 Release Date: 19 May 2026 Closing Date: 14 June 2026 23:59 BST Role Summary We are seeking a motivated and proactive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Student Navigator to join the School of Nursing and Midwifery. This key role supports learners undertaking CPD, post‑qualification, work‑based learning, and postgraduate provision. You will act as a central point of coordination from application through to enrolment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth, timely, and supportive student experience.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for CPD applicants and students, providing clear guidance on processes, requirements, and timelines, and proactively supporting engagement from application to enrolment. Coordinate with professional service teams (Admissions, Enrolment, Finance, Student Systems) to track applications, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues that may impact student progression or enrolment. Build strong relationships with NHS Trusts and employers to support funding approvals, streamline communication, and ensure timely student onboarding.

Collaborate closely with course and module leads to support onboarding, share student progress updates, and highlight potential risks or delays. Maintain accurate student records, track application and enrolment status, and produce reports to support decision‑making and continuous improvement. Contribute to improving processes, workflows, and student communications, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality experience.
