Construction Project Manager

Job Description Job Description Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Job description: Job Summary Responsible for providing management oversight for all phases of assigned commercial construction projects in our South Florida office region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to completion Develop and monitor the budget and schedule for the successful completion of each assigned project. Select and hire subcontractors as required to complete the various work scopes for the project. Draft the contracts and review for issuance to subcontracts. Manage project superintendents and ensure they have the necessary resources to successfully complete the projects Communicate directly with Owners and Architects Competencies/Skills Required Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Scheduling, Estimating) Scheduling Preconstruction and Estimating Contract management Business communications Accounting Read, write and speak the English language with proficiency Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in construction management or closely related field preferred Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial construction management Other important information We are a Drug Free Workplace. Strong preference for candidates who currently live in the South Florida region and work in commercial construction Valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and properly insured vehicle are required.
