Sealaska Constructors, LLC, 1200 6th Ave., Seattle, Washington, United States of America Job Description Posted Wednesday 21 January 2026 at 08:00 Job Title Construction Project Engineer Job Summary This position will assist with the day‑to‑day details of the projects. Working closely with project teams and provide support of project estimation, project management and cost & scheduling. Duties/Responsibilities Provide support of project estimation, project management and cost & scheduling.

Collect & review field data to update schedule weekly. Analyze change requests and incorporate into baseline and current plan if they are approved. Review, compare, analyze and report performance of schedule against baseline plan and past schedule updates.

Perform schedule delay analysis and communicate schedule delays in a timely fashion. Prepare RFP level schedules during proposal bidding phase in order to pursue new work. Review RFPs and prepare the proposal checklists to track proposal tasks, assign tasks and ensure proposals are submitted as per RFP requirements.

Track various project cost elements, subcontractor costs, and analyze cost data to forecast project cost at completion. Receive, evaluate and compile subcontractor and vendor proposals. Responsible for proposal submission details such as bid time, location, bid runner, bid form.

Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Exhibits high level ability to interpret plans and specifications. Proficiency with all MS Office products.

Detail oriented and thorough with good organization skills. Exhibits good problem‑solving skills and shows logical process to decision making. Exhibit’s ability to break down assemblies into individual tasks and elements (i.e. constructability).

Multi‑task oriented capable of running multiple estimates concurrently. Maintains composure in a high stress environment. Understanding direct and indirect cost to a project.

Understand the estimate structure; alternates and bid areas. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience A.A. or B.S. degree in construction management, related field or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of experience in federal construction using Primavera 6.
