Job Description Job Description Project Engineer Build Your Commercial Construction Career With a Respected Denver-Area GC Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects throughout the Denver Front Range. This position is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience who wants strong field exposure, hands-on learning, and a clear long-term path for growth. This is a well-established commercial general contractor with a strong reputation for quality work, repeat business, and employee retention.
Their backlog includes a mix of commercial work, with increasing emphasis on multifamily projects over the next several years. Key Responsibilities Support both the Project Manager and Superintendent on active projects. Manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, and other project documentation.
Track submittals and procurement timing to help keep projects on schedule. Maintain drawing updates and distribute current information to subcontractors. Attend project meetings and maintain meeting minutes and follow-up items.
Assist with preconstruction, closeout, and day-to-day project coordination. Typical projects include: Commercial construction projects in the $10M–$60M range. Multifamily developments.
Healthcare, dealership, and other commercial building types. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred. Multifamily construction experience preferred Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is highly beneficial.
