Commercial Project Manager Client: Energy WindPower Contract Length: 12 months IR35: Outside IR35 (£37.00 – £40.00 per hour) Location: Remote Working Hours : 37 hours per week The Role Energy Windpower client is currently seeking a Senior Commercial Project Manager to join its Onshore Service team. This role will act as a key commercial business partner to Operations management, supporting multiple onshore wind projects across a geographical hub typically 15–30 sites/windfarms . You will own full commercial accountability for your hub, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to drive performance, profitability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Full Profit and loss and balance sheet ownership for assigned projects/hub Monthly cost control, forecasting, and budget management with a focus on accuracy Identify, manage, and report commercial risks and opportunities Maintain and report risk registers and non‑conformance costs Monitor and analyse KPIs Availability, Corrective and service hours, Project spend and gross margins, Billings, receivables, and overdue management. Act as a trusted commercial partner to Operations, attending regular face‑to‑face meetings where required. Prepare and present monthly performance reports to senior management Resolve day‑to‑day commercial issues with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction Support tender and sales phases , including contract drafting and T&Cs Ensure robust business modelling, forecasting (ETCs), and reporting controls. Qualifications Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in project-related commercial roles, energy or renewables sector. Demonstrable experience in: Project controlling, Risk and opportunity management, Currency management, IFRS-based accounting principles Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong IT capability, including: SAP and Microsoft Office suite (including Power BI) What’s On Offer Be part of a mission-driven organisation delivering clean energy for generations to come Work with a global, diverse team passionate about renewable energy.
