Job Description Job Description Direct Hire - Aerospace CNC Programmer Location: Downers Grove, IL Pay: $33-$38+/hr DOE JSG is currently seeking an experienced Aerospace CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Downers Grove, IL . This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled CNC programmer with strong multi-axis machining experience and a passion for precision manufacturing and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Program, edit, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC programs for aerospace components Support and program: Horizontal Machining Centers Vertical Machining Centers (large & small) 4-Axis Lathes 5-Axis Lathes Y-Axis Lathes Utilize advanced programming techniques including: Macro programming Sub-programming Variable programming G & M code editing Work with Fanuc, Okuma, and Mitsubishi CELOS controllers Troubleshoot and resolve "shop floor" machining and programming issues in real time Maintain CNC program libraries and revision control in compliance with NADCAP requirements Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and support production goals Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including: Kaizen events SMED VSM 5S Analyze manufacturing data and support informed process improvement decisions Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred Strong experience with: CAD/CAM software Esprit SolidWorks MasterCam Skilled in: Multi-axis machining functions Macro-style programming CNC troubleshooting and optimization Proficient with Fanuc, Okuma, and Mitsubishi CELOS controllers Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred OR equivalent manufacturing/programming experience Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus Excellent computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits 401(k) with company match Discretionary Personal Reimbursement Account Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance Life Insurance & AD&D Coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical & Dependent Care) Educational Reimbursement Exceptional overall benefits package Interested candidates are encouraged to apply today to learn more about this exciting direct hire opportunity in the aerospace industry.
