Job Description
Participate and coordinate necessary equipment issues during construction projects to assure that the necessary equipment is included in the project, it is specified to architect, purchased, installed, and setup appropriately . Participate in various levels of medical equipment selection, installation, setup, and disposition of the medical equipment. Communicate and follow up on responsibilities as assigned during the construction phases.
Stay current in construction codes and standards related to medical equipment. Stay current in the area of medical equipment technology to provide consultative services to departments. Manage the medical equipment maintenance (repair and preventative maintenance) for devices with the manufacturer or a qualified vendor when there are not internal resources within department to repair with their own hands.
