Clinical Deputy Manager | Elderly Nursing & Dementia Home Qualification: RGN only (active nursing pin) Salary: £60,000 per annum Location: Battersea, London Hours: 40 hours per week (Supernumerary, Monday–Friday with occasional weekend cover) About the Role Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a valued client to recruit a Clinical Deputy Manager for a well-performing elderly nursing home near Battersea. The home provides nursing, dementia and residential care and is seeking a clinically strong, hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to elderly residents. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking to join a stable, supportive service with a strong clinical focus.

You will work closely with the Home Manager, leading clinical practice, supporting staff development, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide strong clinical leadership across the home Support and mentor nursing and care teams Ensure excellent standards of elderly and dementia care Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Support clinical governance, audits and compliance Requirements Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN (RGN) Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead Previous nursing home experience essential Strong background in elderly and dementia nursing Excellent leadership, communication and clinical skills Genuine passion for elderly care Interview Process Stage 1: Interview with the Home Manager Stage 2: Formal interview with the Home Manager and Operations Manager Location & Commutability The home is based near Battersea and is easily commutable from: Brixton, Peckham, Putney, Streatham, Wimbledon, Hammersmith, Kingston-upon-Thames, Twickenham, Richmond, Thornton Heath, Ealing, Lambeth and Westminster.
