Job Description
Responsible for selling the organization's products or services to end users, maintaining relationships with existing named accounts across your territory. As a Process Automation Seller, you will lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation. You will drive growth of automation solutions portfolio, focusing on Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Industrial Software (SCADA, MES, Historians).
Location Requires up to 60% travel to clients in Arizona & New Mexico. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain territory sales plan Identify prospects and craft entry strategies Develop value propositions using business and financial knowledge Coordinate deal crafting and positioning Lead or participate in contract negotiations Manage demand and qualify opportunities Share industry, deal, and sales best‑practice knowledge with the sales community; mentor and coach other Client Sales Executives Engage in executive‑level dialogue (CxO) to understand strategy and financial drivers Identify, communicate, position and implement the ECS strategy Manage complex accounts: multi‑site, global, large size Reporting Reports to Kaleb Watts, Process Automation Regional Sales Director. Qualifications 5+ years of complex, solution‑selling industrial automation sales experience with DCS, PLCs and safety systems Past experience closing deals of $5‑10 million in contract value Proven track record in developing new business in the automation field Knowledgeable of business solutions and manufacturing applications Track record of meeting/exceeding yearly quota In‑depth experience with RFI/RFP proposal strategy, management and response Capability to understand IPS offerings and articulate them to industry and prospects Strategic sales, relationship and account management experience at a major services organization, preferably on a global basis Equal Opportunity Employer .
