Senior Civil Engineer London (Hybrid) £50,000 – £65,000 DOE Full-time | Permanent We are currently recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to join an established and growing consultancy, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK . This role is based in the London office , with hybrid working available subject to business requirements. This is a hands-on technical role and is not a Team Leader or line management position.

The focus is on project delivery, technical excellence, and professional development rather than people management. A lot of our client’s work is based on long lifespan, large residential schemes so experience in this area is key. The Role As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of civil engineering projects , providing expertise across highways, drainage and infrastructure works.

You’ll work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring designs meet regulatory standards and best practice, while continuing to develop your own professional capability. Key Responsibilities Design & Technical Delivery Design, analyse and develop civil engineering solutions including highways, drainage systems, infrastructure, earthworks and site layouts Contribute to project delivery with guidance and support from senior management Regulatory & Standards Compliance Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, planning conditions and relevant industry standards Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and regulatory adherence across all designs Problem-Solving & Innovation Identify technical challenges early and develop robust, innovative engineering solutions Support risk mitigation and efficient project outcomes Health, Safety & Sustainability Ensure Designer compliance with CDM 2015 Promote safe, sustainable and responsible design practices Quality Assurance Support quality assurance of engineering outputs to meet internal and external standards Requirements Proficient in Civil 3D (3D modelling essential) Relevant degree or apprenticeship with appropriate industry experience Actively working towards (or keen to progress to) ICE corporate membership Full clean UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
