Children's Advanced Practitioner- Family Safeguarding

Responsibilities of this role: Lead and manage complex children’s safeguarding and child protection cases Apply the Family Safeguarding model to improve outcomes for children Provide expert risk assessment, analysis, and case direction Support and mentor Children’s Social Workers through reflective supervision Work closely with multi-disciplinary partners to address parental risks Chair and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and child protection conferences Quality-assure children’s assessments, plans, and statutory interventions Support effective pre-proceedings and court work for children Model strengths-based, child-centred, and trauma-informed practice Ensure practice complies with children’s legislation, guidance, and local procedures Requirements of this role: Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
