This is a high-impact leadership role supporting the development of advanced turbojet engines used in UAVs and missile systems. Key responsibilities: Design Leadership: Lead propulsion system design efforts from concept through to production, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements Project Oversight: Manage propulsion-related projects, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery Testing & Validation: Develop, execute, and analyze comprehensive test plans; support validation and certification efforts Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams for seamless integration of propulsion systems Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers; foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence Continuous Improvement: Drive technical advancement through process improvements and next-generation propulsion technologies Background profile: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred 10+ years of propulsion or jet engine design experience with a strong track record of successful projects Deep expertise in propulsion systems, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and aerospace materials Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Strong leadership with the ability to influence across technical teams Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required Preferred qualifications: Experience in engine testing and validation environments Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes and materials Knowledge of emerging propulsion technologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
