Job Description
Part-Time Prep Cook | Vendador Vendador is a Michelin-trained private dining company serving high-net-worth clients across Chicago. We are hiring a part-time prep cook to work alongside Chef Francis in our kitchen, Tuesday through Saturday. Minimum hours required 10AM - 2PM.
Schedule will be set at the time of hire. Initially this is a prep-only role. Performance based opportunities to join private dining events.
We work with a tight knit team of professionals who hold each other to a standard that reflects our love for hospitality. Being able to fit the company culture is paramount. What you'll do Prep all components for our private dining events under Chef Francis's direction.
You will work in a focused, clean, organized kitchen where systems matter and details are non-negotiable. We are looking for someone that has a personal desire and standard to succeed at their tasks. What we're looking for Great attitude.
This is 60% of the job. What you don't know, I can teach you. The right attitude and willingness to learn is up to you.
Strong time management skills are non negotiable. Strong knife skills and a clean, methodical work style. Genuine appreciation for structure, systems, and operations.
A growth mindset and real desire to keep learning the craft. Kindness, professionalism, and the ability to work well alongside others. A love for cooking and hospitality.
