Role Overview We are looking for a Business Manager – Customs Clearance, Port Logistics & Import Operations, India to support SolutionMall’s product arrival, customs clearance, port logistics, local delivery coordination, and import-related business operations in India.

This role is suitable for professionals with experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, customs clearance, port operations, warehouse coordination, inland transportation, product compliance documentation, or cross-border trade operations. The role focuses on supporting products after international shipment arrival at major Indian ports and customs locations, coordinating import and customs processes, assisting local logistics and warehouse arrangements, supporting import documentation, and helping SolutionMall improve delivery efficiency for project-based orders in India. This is not a simple administrative logistics role.

It is a business coordination role involving freight forwarders, customs brokers, port agents, transport companies, suppliers, customers, warehouses, and project delivery stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be able to support: Product arrival coordination Indian port logistics follow-up Customs clearance support Import/export documentation Local warehouse and delivery coordination Inland transportation coordination Product compliance documentation support Logistics cost and timeline feedback Business and project delivery support 3. Key Responsibilities Product Arrival and Port Coordination Support product arrival coordination at major Indian ports and customs locations, including: Mumbai / Nhava Sheva / JNPT Mundra Port Chennai Port Kolkata Port Cochin Port Visakhapatnam Port Other relevant seaports, airports, ICDs, and inland logistics hubs in India Coordinate shipment arrival follow-up, port agent communication, freight forwarder communication, customs broker communication, delivery schedule coordination, local receiving, and abnormal shipment follow-up.

Work with SolutionMall teams, suppliers, logistics partners, customs agents, and customers to ensure imported products can move smoothly through arrival, clearance, inland transportation, and final delivery stages. International Logistics and Local Delivery Coordination Support international logistics and India local delivery coordination, including: Sea freight, air freight, and express shipment follow-up Port-to-warehouse logistics coordination Inland transportation and local delivery support Warehouse, storage, and distribution coordination Last-mile delivery support for project orders Logistics cost and delivery timeline feedback Coordination with freight forwarders and local transport partners Help SolutionMall build reliable logistics workflows for project-based product delivery in India. Customs Clearance and Documentation Support Support customs clearance and import/export documentation, including: Commercial invoices Packing lists Bills of lading or air waybills Certificates of origin HS code checking support Customs declaration coordination Import permit or approval support where applicable Customs duty, GST, and clearance cost feedback Abnormal clearance issue follow-up Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to reduce clearance risks and improve delivery predictability.

Compliance and Import Documentation Support Support product compliance and import documentation coordination for imported products, including: Product certification requirements Local import compliance documentation Technical document collection Test reports, certificates, and product files Labeling or document requirements Coordination with local consultants or service providers where needed Feedback on import risks for specific product categories Help SolutionMall understand import, documentation, and clearance requirements for different product categories before and during project delivery. Business and Project Delivery Support Support project delivery coordination from the logistics, customs, and documentation side. Collect and share feedback on: Delivery timelines Local logistics costs Customs clearance risks Common document issues Product category restrictions Port and warehouse conditions Inland transportation challenges Customer delivery expectations Help SolutionMall improve its India delivery capability, reduce logistics risks, and support long-term project delivery efficiency. 4.

Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: International logistics Freight forwarding Import/export operations Customs clearance coordination India port logistics Product arrival and delivery coordination Warehouse and distribution coordination Inland transportation coordination Product compliance documentation Cross-border trade operations Project delivery or supply chain coordination Familiar with import/export documentation, shipment follow-up, customs clearance workflows, freight forwarder coordination, customs broker communication, and logistics problem solving. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, port agents, suppliers, customers, warehouses, transport companies, and internal teams. Working proficiency in English.

Preferred Existing logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, port agent, or warehouse resources in India Experience with major Indian ports such as Nhava Sheva / JNPT, Mundra, Chennai, Kolkata, Cochin, or Visakhapatnam Experience with ICDs, inland logistics hubs, bonded warehouses, or local distribution networks in India Familiarity with product compliance, import documentation, labeling, or approval requirements Experience in B2B project delivery, industrial products, commercial equipment, electrical products, medical products, IT/IoT products, or engineering equipment logistics Hindi or local Indian language communication ability is preferred 5.
