Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts. This role is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing new sales channels, including farmers markets, festivals, stadiums, entertainment venues, and other high-volume locations. The ideal candidate is proactive, well-connected, and experienced in food service, events, or concessions.

This person will play a key role in driving revenue growth by bringing Kings Empanadas into new markets and venues. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Identify and pursue new business opportunities including: Farmers markets Festivals and large-scale events Stadiums and sports venues Concert venues and entertainment spaces Corporate events and private catering opportunities Conduct outreach (cold calls, emails, in-person visits) to event organizers, venue managers, and concession operators Negotiate contracts, vendor agreements, and participation terms Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing Partnership & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with: Event coordinators Stadium/concession management teams Promoters and venue operators Serve as the primary point of contact for all new and existing venue partnerships Ensure long-term partnerships by delivering consistent value and professionalism Market Expansion Strategy Research and identify high-traffic, high-revenue opportunities Analyze potential ROI for new locations and events Develop strategies to expand brand presence in key markets Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities Coordination & Execution Work closely with operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new locations Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and requirements for each event or venue Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and permitting requirements Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in: Business development, sales, or partnerships Food service, hospitality, events, or concessions (strongly preferred) Proven track record of: Generating leads Closing deals Building long-term partnerships Strong communication and negotiation skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently Comfortable with cold outreach and networking Preferred Existing relationships with: Event organizers Stadium or venue operators Food vendor coordinators Experience working with food trucks, catering companies, or mobile food businesses Knowledge of Southern California event and food scene Compensation Structure Base salary (optional depending on candidate) What Success Looks Like Securing consistent placements at high-traffic farmers markets and events Gaining entry into stadiums and large venues Increasing monthly revenue through new sales channels Building a strong pipeline of recurring opportunities
