A leading financial services consultancy firm is expanding its North West presence and is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive origination across the region. They offer restructuring, debt advisory, corporate finance, and many more services to businesses across the UK. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth for the overall business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic partnerships to generate leads for the whole business group. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key introducers (accountants, solicitors etc) and clients across the North West market. Represent the firm at networking events, corporate events, industry forums, tradeshows etc.

Maintain regular contact with existing relationships to ensure the firm remains front‑of‑mind. Generate new business opportunities across all advisory service lines. Identify, qualify, and route opportunities to the appropriate internal teams.

Map target markets and sectors to identify new relationship clusters and emerging opportunities. Monitor market activity, competitor movements, and deal flow trends. Support senior leaders with BD strategy, meeting preparation, and relationship‑building initiatives.

Contribute to BD reporting, pipeline reviews, and strategic planning. Experience & Skills Required Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred but not essential). Experience in insolvency, corporate finance, or commercial lending is advantageous.

Proven success in business development. Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders. Commercially sharp with strong judgement around opportunity qualification.

Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder‑management skills. Proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable in a partner‑led environment. Benefits: Competitive salary with performance-based commission.
