Having established a strong reputation within the business loans market, they are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth. The Opportunity; As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across the UK market. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in expanding the company's client base and building long-term strategic relationships. This position offers significant exposure to senior decision-makers, a highly supportive leadership team, and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a business that is experiencing sustained growth.
Importantly, this role has a clear leadership pathway. As the business continues to scale, the successful individual will be well-positioned to progress into a Sales Leadership role, with the opportunity to build, mentor, and lead their own team. Key Responsibilities; Generate and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients. Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across target markets. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract completion. Develop strong relationships with introducers, partners, and referral sources.
Maintain accurate records and pipeline reporting via CRM systems. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
About You; Proven experience in a Business Development and Sales. Track record of generating and winning new business. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and business owners. Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven. Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Commercial Finance, Payments, Lending, Banking, SaaS, or a related sector would be advantageous.
Leadership qualities and a desire to progress into a management position over time. Professional, resilient, and eager to develop within a high-growth environment. What's on Offer?
