Job Title: Business Development Executive Location: Sheffield – Hybrid (3 days in the office 2 days from home) Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 + Commission (£30,000-£40,000 OTE) Overview Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on hitting targets and winning new business? We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive on behalf of a market-leading software business. This is a high impact role focused on driving new business and growing revenue within existing accounts through a consultative, value-led sales approach.

Key Responsibilities Drive new business acquisition while expanding revenue across existing customer accounts Identify, engage, and influence key decision-makers within target organisations Deliver engaging, value-based demonstrations that clearly articulate return on investment Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close Build, manage, and progress a strong sales pipeline Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and activity records Stay up to date with product developments, market trends, and competitor activity Skills & Experience Experience in a sales role with a proven track record of managing the full sales cycle and exceeding targets Strong drive to achieve and surpass goals, with clear personal accountability for performance Commitment to continuous personal development and a willingness to learn from others Resilient, persistent, and motivated, with the ability to overcome challenges and remain proactive Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, handle objections, and close effectively Adaptable influencing skills, able to engage a variety of customer types and tailor approach accordingly Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills to maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts A collaborative team player with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Must be available to start end of May 2026
