Business Analyst – Process & Digital Transformation | London Insurance Market | London (Hybrid) We’re currently hiring a Business Analyst to join a large-scale EMEA transformation programme within a global organisation operating in the London Insurance Market . This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and shaping digital solutions —working at the intersection of underwriting, operations, and technology. Please note: experience working within the Insurance Market is essential for this role.
The Opportunity You’ll be part of a high-impact transformation function delivering new technology platforms and driving process optimisation across multiple countries and product lines. Working within a collaborative, squad-based environment, you’ll partner closely with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex needs into clear, actionable outcomes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and define business requirements Map and improve end-to-end business processes , identifying gaps and opportunities Create user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to business needs Support product backlogs, sprint planning, and prioritisation activities Contribute to agile ceremonies including stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives Produce clear documentation (BRDs, functional specs, process maps) Facilitate workshops and support adoption of new tools and features What We’re Looking For Experience as a Business Analyst (typically 2–5 years, flexible depending on profile) Strong process engineering and requirements gathering capability Confident communicator, able to engage and challenge stakeholders Proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work at pace Experience working in cross-functional, digital or agile environments Proven experience within the London Insurance Market (essential) Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence , or similar Interest in AI-enabled ways of working Nice to Have Exposure to system implementations or transformation programmes Additional European languages (French, Spanish, German, Dutch) Environment Fast-paced, outcome-focused culture Multidisciplinary teams across Europe and global tech hubs High stakeholder exposure across underwriting, operations, and technology Opportunity to contribute to major platform builds and transformation initiatives Package & Location London-based (minimum 3 days per week in office) Salary: £50,000–£65,000 depending on experience Bonus: 8–10% annual target Competitive benefits package Why Apply?
