Job Information Job Title: Business Analyst Job Requisition ID: 84519 Ministry: Technology and Innovation Location: Edmonton Full or Part-Time: Full-Time Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week Permanent/Temporary: Permanent Scope: Open Competition Closing Date: July 10, 2026 Classification: Program Services 3 Salary: $2,935.39 - $3,850.29 bi-weekly ($76,613 - $100,492 / year) Responsibilities Lead onboarding and integration of platform services, developing clear guidance, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting partners in meeting technical and operational requirements. Operationalize change management processes, including release planning, stakeholder communications, testing coordination, and issue triage to ensure service readiness and continuity. Drive service improvement through insight and collaboration, leveraging support data, stakeholder feedback, and Contact Centre trends to identify and implement practical enhancements.
Engage and enable stakeholders, supporting discovery, education, and adoption of platform services while identifying opportunities for growth and integration. Support operational and strategic priorities, delivering advice, reporting, and continuous improvement using AI-enabled tools, data, and best practices. Requirements A university degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Arts), supplemented by two (2) years of progressively responsible, related experience.
Experience supporting operational coordination, onboarding, stakeholder engagement, service delivery, or change activities in a program, platform, product, or technical service environment. Experience gathering issue details, supporting triage, documenting impacts, identifying patterns, and coordinating resolution with technical teams. Equivalences Related masterβs degree and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience. Related two-year diploma and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience. Related one-year certificate and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
Minimum of six (6) years of related experience in lieu of formal education. Assets Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts such as authentication, authorization, credential lifecycle, user lifecycle, access provisioning, role-based or group-based access, identity proofing concepts, federation, and service access patterns. Experience supporting technical onboarding, integration requirements, testing coordination, environment-readiness activities, or operational readiness for digital services.
Awareness of privacy, cybersecurity, records management, and information-handling considerations related to AI-enabled and automated operational work.
