The London-area operations connect local market needs with AAF’s international resources and expertise. Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Manager role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility to work from home part of the week.

The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage a sales pipeline, and develop growth plans for key customer segments in the air filtration market. Responsibilities include prospecting and visiting clients, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions. The role involves monitoring market trends and competitor activities, attending industry events, and providing feedback to product and marketing teams to refine offerings.

The Business Development Manager will also prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, maintain accurate CRM records, and build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers and partners. Qualifications Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in industrial, HVAC, facilities management, or related technical sectors. Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and contract negotiation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Ability to understand and communicate technical or engineered solutions, with comfort presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to working across sales, operations, and product teams. Solid analytical and organizational skills, including experience using CRM tools, preparing sales reports, and interpreting market data to guide strategy.

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid environment, managing time, travel, and customer priorities effectively. Willingness to travel within the London area and occasionally across the UK or Europe for client visits, site meetings, and industry events. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; prior experience in air filtration or HVAC is an advantage.
