Job Description Job Description POSITION: Branch Manager LOCATION: Burlington, ON MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies. We are recruiting on behalf of an established and highly reputable distributor of industrial products who is on the hunt for Branch Manager to take over the day-to-day operations of one of their most successful locations. This location has a strong market presence, a loyal customer base, and a track record of consistent performance and profitability.

The Branch Manager will lead all aspects of the operation, including sales growth, team leadership of a 16 employees, customer relationships, and overall branch performance including P&L ownership. This is a high-impact leadership role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring a hands-on leadership style. MUST HAVE: previous industry experience in industrial distribution coupled with 5+ years of leadership experience (sales leadership is acceptable).

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Provide day-to-day leadership for branch operations, including inside sales, warehouse, and counter staff Foster a high-performance, accountable, and team-oriented culture Oversee inventory management, logistics, and overall operational efficiency Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards Sales & Business Development Drive revenue growth and profitability of the branch Maintain and expand relationships with contractors, builders, and industry stakeholders Identify new business opportunities within the local market Support and mentor the team in proactive sales and customer engagement Financial Management Manage branch P&L, budgeting, and cost control initiatives Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve performance Ensure pricing strategies align with market conditions and company objectives Customer Experience Maintain a strong customer-first culture Resolve escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently Strengthen long-term partnerships with key accounts Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience within distribution (plumbing, HVAC, industrial, or related) Strong understanding of contractor-based sales and project-driven business cycles Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing branch performance Experience managing P&L and operational metrics Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach Compensation Base salary plus highly lucrative profit sharing model (total earning potential is 200K+) Comprehensive benefits package and RRSP plan If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply online.
