Bim Engineer

Job Title: BIM Engineer Location: Birmingham (Site-Based) Company: Leading Main Contractor Overview We are working with a leading UK main contractor who is seeking a skilled BIM Engineer to join their team on a major project based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high‑profile build, supporting digital delivery and driving BIM excellence across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) Carry out clash detection and model coordination using tools such as Navisworks Ensure all BIM deliverables align with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and client requirements Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve coordination issues Support the implementation of BIM standards and digital construction processes on site Manage and maintain Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows Assist in 4D planning and digital construction sequencing where required Requirements Proven experience working as a BIM Engineer / BIM Technician within the construction industry Must have site‑based experience working on live construction projects Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks Good understanding of BIM processes, standards, and project delivery Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines (MEP, structural, architectural) Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with site and design teams Desirable Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor Familiarity with 4D/5D BIM processes Knowledge of UK BIM standards (ISO 19650) Experience using CDE platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, Asite, or similar) What's on Offer Opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a flagship project Competitive salary and benefits package Strong career progression within a growing digital construction team #J-18808-Ljbffr
