I’m working with an innovative technology company operating in the sustainability and energy space, building cutting-edge platforms that help global organisations reduce their environmental impact and hit carbon reduction targets. They’re now looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join their team and help scale a real-time, cloud-native IoT platform used by enterprise clients worldwide.

What you’ll be doing: Building and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs Designing high-performance systems to process real-time IoT data streams Developing event-driven and asynchronous processing components Contributing to architecture decisions across a multi-cloud environment Working closely with product, DevOps, and data teams to deliver robust solutions Driving best practices across code quality, testing, and CI/CD What they’re looking for: 4+ years’ experience in backend development Strong Java experience (core Java essential) Experience building production-grade, scalable systems Solid understanding of concurrency and distributed systems Experience designing RESTful APIs Nice to have: Spring / Spring Boot AWS / Azure Docker / Kubernetes CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD) xwzovoh Why join?
